A young girl named Long Pross was only 13 years old when she was kidnapped and sold to a brothel in Cambodia Her hands were tied behind her back unless she was with customers She was beaten tortured and electrocuted sometimes twice in one day until she succumbed to her owners demands Her owner had her stitched up a total of 4 times like most girls so her virginity can be resold for larger sums of money She became pregnant on two occasions and was subjected to abortions both times The second time she was 4 months gestation and suffered with severe pain She begged her brothel owner for some rest and thats when Prosss right eye was gauged out with a piece of metal Her eye became infected and was spraying blood and pus on customers which was not good for business That was when her owner discarded her because she could no longer generate income for her This type of human trafficking is called sex trafficking This girl is one of many that will be forced into the sex trade Thousands of girls are trafficked every year Sex Trafficking within the US is defined as commercial sex acts induced by force fraud or coercion or commercial sex acts in which the individual induced to perform commercial sex has not attained 18 years of age Minors are also recruited into prostitution in the United States Some twelve years old children give up their childhood to prostitution Polaris Human sex trafficking is an illegal form of modern day slavery that has turned into a lucrative business Trafficking is a lucrative trade compared to the estimated annual 650 billion for all illegal international trade circa 2010 Wikipedia Sex trafficking is a multibillion-dollar industry that has what seems to be endless supply of women ready to be used for profit and consumers in the United States want and will pay for exotic bodies from other countries
