My eyes fluttered open I peered around the dark filthy room where I had awoken and realised I was no longer with my old mate I winced as I looked down at my grotesquely beaten and bruised body A searing pain began to intensify in my head as the rusted iron door was opened by a short Asian man As I laid eyes on him the scene was beautiful his scrawny body was surrounded by an awe-inspiring brightness from the light outside His face was slightly wrinkled and he had a long pointy nose His lips were cracked from the cold weather little dribbles of drool were escaping his mouth He looked like a weak unattractive runt who was like one of those kids who was bullied in high school for the fun of it But when I caught a glimpse of this mans eyes I saw a terrifying inner demon At that petrifying moment I concluded that this man would encompass my very soul in order to return to my old mate I would have to go to hell and back again He sat down on the simple chair opposite me and glared at me for what felt like an eternity It felt like he was exploring the very depths of my soul It felt like he had already slithered his way around my heart and found out all my deepest secrets It felt like he was poisoning me inside before his conniving tongue moved an inchSo youre the last of your squad He askedYes I and my mates were attempting to return to HQ we were then ambushed and I was the only survivor I saidWe have received some interesting information from our informant at your HQ A cluster of C4 explosives has been placed throughout residential areas But unfortunately the location of these eludes us He saidIf you think Ill betray my mates back home you are sorely mistaken I
