Emily's feedback:
"There is a lot of good outside information in this essay and according to your bibliography you used a nice variety of sources. However, those sources need to be cited in the essay as well. Any piece of information that is not your own analysis needs to be noted with the proper in-text citation. Purdue OWL is a great source to look at for proper formatting of both in-text citations and your bibliography according to the style guide you are using.
Some of the writing also comes across as a little informal, so make sure the writing style coincides with your intended audience. That might include changing some of the language, as well as eliminating many of the abbreviations you use (gov.'t, &, Pres.). This essay also seems to be missing a clear thesis statement and a conclusion. While you do discuss the complications with the separation of powers in current times, the essay question has not been explicitly answered. A good way to ensure that you are answering the prompt is to rework that question and turn it into your thesis statement."
