There are a lot of factors that go into answering the question of whether or not you would turn in a family member if they committed a murder There are so many different ways a murder could be committed you could shoot somebody or accidentally kill them I do not think it would make a difference who the person was whether it was my mom dad or sister All that would matter is the way it was done and possibly a few unknown factors I believe that this is a subject that you cannot give an answer truthfully because it could change if it really happened One example would be if it was done on purpose like if my sister went out one night and got in a fight then killed some girl at a bar If nobody knew it was her and she covered it up well I think I would help her get away with it because I could not see a family member be put in jail for life On the other hand if you help hide a criminal you can get in a lot of trouble so I honestly do not know what I would do if anyone purposely killed somebody The other situation I can think of is if a murder happened accidentally An example would be if my dad was driving down the road and a person jumped in front of him making it completely impossible to avoid him I think I would turn him in cause the odds are that he would be let free cause it was not his fault However if you do not turn him into the police and they have to put out an investigation and they find my dad to be the murderer then he could be in serious trouble I know that a person cannot be held accountable for killing another if it was not their fault at all and if that
