We were at the Greyhound stations unpaved parking lot where thedarkness made it difficult to recognize a face and all we could hearwas the cold wind blowing the dead leaves on the ground It was overlyquiet All of the offices were closed and the lights were off We hadto rely on our cars headlights to see the surroundings There I wasstanding in the light from my car demonstrating a kick Side-kickI shouted My right leg trembled as I forced it up higher in the airwhile my left leg weakened as I maintained the position Since thatdidnt seem enough I stood back and performed another kick Before Ibrought my leg down I had to be certain that he was impressed It wasdifficult to recall the kick I had learned nine years ago but Idemonstrated it as mightily as if I was demonstrating it in front of arigid master I pulled my thumb up as I brought down my leg and saidloudly Good He couldnt say anything but in agreement onlylifted his two thick thumbs up The kicks delivered tolerable pains to my crotch for a moment butseeing his sternly face soothed the pain and nervousness I told myselfquietly so no one could hear phew I guess that worked then Iasked Jeff How did you like the kicks I bet you havent seen suchkicks in the past have you I said it with much confidence Before Ibecome more boastful Kelly yelled from her car Its past 11 Dont you think we should goI know but just give me a second I said I will take care ofit okay What are you thinking She yelled even louder Youre not takinghim home are you No definitely not I sighed and said Alright alright Welljust goKelly is my girlfriend She is sitting in her car yelling at me Wevebeen together for a while but Ive never seen her so annoyed of a personlike this before I could understand her
