Between the years 1400 to 1600 is what the assigned text book covers for this course between the two-hundred years time frame countless people events art work has had an impeccable impact on not only that time period but even in present day these people have had an ever lasting importance for what they accomplished or what they created Reading through the book it was difficult to fully pinpoint what was the single most important thing that occurred because every story every artifact every culture has affected people differently I ultimately decided to go with something that I have seen and experienced first hand and that is the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican Rome that Michelangelo painted The feeling I got when I actually saw the Chapel is a breath taking moment that moved me even at a young age I might of not fully grasp the importance and greatness of what I was looking at but as Ive grown up I certainly understand how moving that Chapel isThe Sistine Chapel is the most recognized chapel in the entire world the job Michelangelo did painting the chapel is indescribable how someone could be so detailed oriented in every aspect of his paintings was something no one had ever seen before Michelangelo spent forty years of his life working on the Sistine Chapel every little brush of paint was a deep thought out process before he put the paint to the wall the chapel is a reflection of his mind he was free to paint whatever he wanted to that was relevant to religious matters and thats exactly what he did The Sistine Chapel was Michelangelos creation that he left be hide for the world to admire and awe at he wanted to have his name go down in history for painting the chapel that is why he put so much time and effort into creating something that would live on forever Its been over five
