Skateboards are a very popular product around the world If you walking along during a nice day you are bound to see someone riding around on their skateboard Now no one is for sure where exactly skateboards were invented but it became popular in the US and spread throughout the world What we know is that they started to pop up around the 1940s when people took their scooters and started to take The skateboards materials started off very primitive but throughout time advanced to become very good Skateboards are made up of four urethane wheels which are connected to a deck Decks are made up of seven layers of Canadian maple veneer that have been pressed and glued together They can be connected by two axles which are called trucks These trucks are made up of lightweight aluminum These materials are what makes up the product we call a skateboardThe time and place utility of a skateboard are very closely related Skateboards are available all throughout the year But depending on where you live getting a skateboard might not even be sensible In the summertime is when skateboards will be selling the most but if you live in a very cold and snowy place you will not want to even buy one You can always go on the Internet and buy a skateboard but if you want to get one in a store the summer is when the selection will be best Since skateboards are mainly and outdoor activity you will probably see more around California than you will see in Michigan Depending on where you go to purchase your skateboardwill determine if you are able to pay with a credit card check or simply cash Although you will not see commercials on TV for skateboards it does not mean they do not sell or advertise If you ever turned on espn youve seen something called the X-games one of the most popular sporting
