Being a girl my obvious opinion is that the female population has it a lot harder than guys do in our culture After all we have to give birth deal with hormones and periods once a month and really just have to put up with the stupidity of all males Although I think its safe to say most females would agree my view is certainly biased and limited to my own feminist thoughts I decided to get a males opinion in order to answer whose life is easier or how much the opposite gender may know each other I had the fortunate and entertaining pleasure of interviewing my friend Ryan who is a junior here at Penn StateRyan had no hesitation once I asked what he liked most about being a man in fact his responses flowed out almost automatically He first mentioned that he liked the fact he wasnt required to wear a shirt We did the interview via Skype to which he pointed out that he did not have a shirt on at this very moment He then paused and asked Am I allowed to be sexist Caught off guard by the question I told him to say everything he thought regardless of feelings Next he said well as a man Im obviously more respected Also I dont have to deal with periods and thats just awesomeObviously the perks of being a guy are pretty high and his answers were rather expected Point goes to us ladies for having a harder life However he was then told to mention what was most troubling about being a guy He said it sucks having to maintain status quo by constantly going to the gym and lifting in order to be attractive He also explained that guys have the stereotype that they constantly have to pay for women and this has always caused trouble for him being a broke college student Another stereotype he said pertains
