Stress describes a negative condition that can have an impact on ones mental and physical well-being There are many reasons why college students may become stressed Some of these reasons are finances time management and not being sure if the major is something that they really want to do All these things may become stressful which is why it is important for students to talk to an advisor or counselor before starting school Talking to an advisorcounselor about finances can relieve some stress of college students The advisorcounselor can provide them with helpful information about different ways to pay for school Students may have a better insight on how much money to save for miscellaneous things needed for school Having knowledge of the different loans scholarships grants and other government assistance can also relieve some of the stress of college studentsAfter graduating high school students are less guided by their parents and teachers Students may have to figure out how the work load of college can fit around their everyday responsibilities Time management may cause students stress because of being a procrastinator with their school work deciding whats more important a full time job or part time school and finding time for family and friends to keep a balanced life All these different types of stress enablers may be relieved when talking to an advisorcounselor to get insight on workloads and how all these things could be managedTalking to an advisorcounselor can help students get their minds right and ready to make a decision for the time being on what is best for them College students may become stressed when being unsure about their major and if they would find a job that pertains to that specific subject of study With the economy we have these days there are fewer jobs which may cause a student to major in something they really dont
