Discuss the subjects you excel or have excelled in To what factors do you attribute your success toThe academic subjects I excel in are English science and government I have a keen sense as to how they all intertwine and relate to one another and how relevant they are in my life Ever since I was a little kid I enjoyed reading expressing myself through writing and using big words to prove my intellectualness My asking of questions in these three subjects has given me confidence and the knowledge of concepts that I apply to my daily life every day My instructors are also vigilant of my success in these areas For instance in 10th grade an assembly was held for parents and students about stepping up to bullying They needed one presumptuous confident person to write and recite an essay that would connect with the audience expressing how we could work together to fight the issue Aware of my English skills as far as writing and speaking it teachers asked if I would be taking on the challenge I gladly did this and the assembly was successful I was often asked if I personally wrote what I recited and was complimented on how I spoke so well to the people Another example of my success in these subjects is my consecutive victories in the science fairs Ive competed in Projects I have researched vary from biology to chemistry even aerodynamics Factors to my success were the encouragement and help my teachers always offered No question was a dumb question they were willing to help with absolutely anything and knew their subjects well so long as you took the time to ask for their help My drive to succeed and my competitiveness have made me the successful person I am today However the biggest factor in my success and the reason I excel in government has been my father For many years my father
