Todays forecast consists of scorching heat lemonade stands on everystreet a barbeque at the neighborhood pool and me laying out whilesoaking up the vitamin D I have just prepared myself for a blissful dayand all that is left is my walk to the pool I quickly walk outside myhouse with an eager smile when I realize that I have been outside for ashort period of time yet Im drenched in sweat As I make my way insidethe pool I become aware that everyone from my neighborhood is here andI begin to feel that with this intense heat it isnt going to be such aneventful evening after all As I look around there are children splashing and playing in the waterwhile others are waiting for their turn on the slides There are alsomany children exiting the pool with their parents and their shouldersare blistered red I continue walking until finding a white lawn chairand take a seat The smell of barbeque surrounds the entire pool andwhen I look towards the right end of the pool I see a long line ofhungry people trying to hide from the sun that is threatening to reddenour noses The people I see walking around seem to be galloping as ifthe floor was made of hot coal Time has passed and I am still lying on this white lawn chair that Ihad previously believed wouldnt absorb as much heat being that it isnta dark color Well that theory was definitely far from true I begin toimagine myself falling asleep on the chair but only to wake up with nocapability to move my body so I decide its time to go for a swim Iwalk up to the water barefoot and now Im hesitating how cold it mustbe But the burning sensations on the sole of my feet are begging for aswim So I stand on my tiptoes and peek myself over the edge and intothe clear blue water I feel the
