At the bus stop in the check out line sitting at a restaurant or in the airport people are perpetually attached to technology Tablets smartphones e-readers and computers have become an integral part of our lives We have come a long way from the times of the Pony Express and now we are able to send an instant text message at the touch of a button Technological advances were originally designed to make human life easier However they have instead turned into addictions from which we cannot free ourselves Today life without our favorite gadgets is unimaginable and almost painful to think about Technology has changed the way that many businesses work today When the Internet is down work is over for the day When the Internet is not working many businesses close for the day Without Internet you cannot do much on your computer therefore your work is over for the day People do not know each others phone number Due to the creation of speed dial and favorites on a cell phone people do not know each others phone number In the event of an emergency when your phone is not with you you will have no way to inform any family member that you are fine Also of you forget your phone somewhere you will not be able to call anyone from a different phone because you wont know their phone number Lastly without your phone you do not feel normal If you forget your phone somewhere you will most likely go back to get it People do not behave the same without their phones People are dependent on technology throughout the day People are dependent on technology to wake them up in the mornings The minute you wake up and your alarm clock rings you are using technology During the day you will also heavily rely on technology You use technology to make your cup of coffee in
