We now live in a world were cell phones are a necessity more than a want As they became more important only parents had them Now 87 of teenagers have cell phones I believe that students should be able to have cell phones in school because they will be able to use its features they will be able to keep in touch at all times of the day and most importantly it allows parents to keep track of their childens whereaboutsThere are plenty of features on cells that can be incorporated with school Students can use their cameras on their phone to take pictures or videos for class for class projects Also if a classmate misses a class they can have a friend record a lesson for them If there are not enough calculators the students will be able to use their phones There are also wonder educational appsParents can keep in touch with their children during before and after school hours It would be allowing the students to text their parents to let them know there okay It is more convenient the parents would be able to text there child to ask questions or just too simply say hello Lastly if there is an emergency they can contact parents as soon as possibleMost importantly phones allow parents to keep track of students whereabouts Phones now have GPS locators in them The parents will be able to feel safer They can look at the GPS to see if they are really at school And if their child does not come home from school the student will already have their phone so it will be easier to locate themIn conclusion people must accept the fact that we live in a world of technology Cell phones are not only used for texting and calling People who disagree with the idea of the idea of phones in school are because of distraction We should take advantage of the
