With how the world is constantly changing there are always arguments about teenagers needing guidance and teenagers being able to make their own decisions Decision making as a teenager is very important to the parents and also to the teenager Whether it is about what a teenager wants to wear or their planned out future most of the time both parents and teenager will want to make a decision Most parents have a mind-settled age of when they feel that their teen can make decisions but the teenager may feel very opinionated about that situation As a child the parents have no choice but to make decisions for their children From what the kid will eat drink and wear As a child the decision making process lies in the hands of the parents At that age the parents know that the child is not capable of making a knowledgeable decision A parent may let a child get some lead way with minor decisions such as do they want nuggets or a burger but nothing major As a child watches their parents make decisions over so many years in their perspective they are also ready for decision making This is usually around the teenage years because they have become accustomed to how decision making works A teenager may feel as if the best way to learn about mistakes is to make them Teenagers may feel that once reaching a teen they have earned the rights of being capable to make their own decisions Usually a teenager may start with a small decision that will work in their favor to prove to their parents that decision making is something they are capable ofParents are usually a little uncomfortable with letting their teenager make decisions for the first time They also know that their teenager will soon enter a world were decision making can heal and hurt their potential future Parents dont want to see their teens experience
