The Agrarian Reform in China took place three times in 1941 1947 and 1950 The third time from the winter of 1950 to the end of 1952 took place wherever the party had been able to maintain a stronghold It covered almost the whole of China except Tibet and a few other areas The Chinese Communist Party had returned the land to the vast numbers of peasants abolishing landownership by the landlord class and introducing peasant landownership Every local government sent people into the rural land reform to mobilize and guide the masses In order to organize masses to carry out the land reform and the strong class struggle which means all people who didnt have land would fight with the landlord class the government established farmers associations In the land reform landlords who commited heinous crimes would be suppressed but others would receive a certain amount of land so that the Party could achieve the transformation from the labor into new people the peasants As a result many peasant households held the deed for their piece of land for the first time ever but at the same time landlords was suffering the pain of losing land and many of them died of fatigue The Party made them work night and day some were beaten A new element which was introduced in 1950 was the provision that the development of agricultural production resulting from the Land reform would pave the way for the industrialization of China Before the land reform Mous Minor also called the little imperial palace covered 4000 hectares of land 8000 hectares of mountains and had 153 tenants and 23 granaries It was established during the Qing dynasty and was taken away from landlords after 1947 The high value of history and art made it a famous scenic spot Jianxin Lee a Chinese director produced a TV series named Mous Minor The landlords of Mous Minor were definitely
