There is speculation on the cure that Chief Tecumseh had made on the presidents that caused a high rate of assassination among presidents Since the first death of the first president there has been a death of a president every twenty years Who is to know if this is a coincidence or could it be faith One of which was President William McKinley who died fourteenth day of September in the year of 1901McKinley had spent the beautiful morning at the Niagara Falls with his wife before they headed to the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo New York on the sixth day of September in 1901 In the Temple of Music he stood reddening himself to shake the hands of the public before they streamed into the building The joy and anticipation they had to meet the President gave them the patience to wait for hours just so they could shake his hand Unbeknownst to both the President and his many guards who stood nearby among those waiting outside was 28-year-old anarchist Leon Czolgosz The doors to the building were opened and everyone who was waiting on the other side of the door was forced into a single line It was a rush as his fellow Americans came up to shake his hand while having just enough time to whisper a Nice to meet you Mr President shake his hand before being forced to continue along the line and out the door againPresident McKinley the 25th president of the United States was a popular president who had just started his second term in office and the people seemed clearly glad to get a chance to meet him However at 407 pm Leon Czolgosz had made it into the building and it was his turn to greet the President He urged his way to meet the President as many have before him therefore his eagerness was nothing out of the normal Hiding in Czolgoszs right hand
