The concept of human nature is referred to the characteristics of humans such as the expression of feelings emotions and actions Theses concept ideas can traced back to some intellectual philosophers like Aristotle Plato or Socrates One of the most influential Greek philosopher Aristotle focused on humans virtue ethics which humans good deeds are far more important than any external goods wealth fame and power Authority has the ability to influence behavior of human beings One prominent example is the leader of Germany Adolf Hitler He was a dictator in Germany and believed in totalitarianism He aimed for new order of Germany which he exterminated and persecuted Jewish Even though many people thought Hitler was evil in his acts towards Jews during the Holocaust but many people viewed otherwise Hannah Arendts idea on the banality of evil though is supported by a social physiologist Stanley Milligrams experiment obedience to authority however historical evidences show that it is actually controversial Not only has the holocaust event brought a debatable and profound affection but it also continues to bring out reflection During WWII Adolf Hitler who was the chancellor of Germany gave orders to Adolf Eichmann the leader of Nazi leader and began a massive persecution of anti-Semitism toward to the Jewish including death concentration camps ghettos and Nuremberg law According to Michael Berenbaum the author of the Holocaust page of the Encyclopaedia Britannica he reported that there were approximately 6 million Jewish died in the Holocaust which was about two thirds of the Jewish population After World War II ended in 1945 Adolf Eichmann was fled to Argentina and he was eventually captured in the late 1959 Eichmann was soon put on a trial in Israel Perhaps the trial of Eichmann has leaded to one of the most controversial topic the banality of evil a phrase coined by Hannah Arendt She was known as her coverage for the New Yorker in the trial of Adolf
