In every students mind there is one choice that we have to make that will impact the next few years of our lives which bank is right for me Which bank would better fit my lifestyle and budget I will be comparing two banks and making an educated decision on which is better for a student lifestyle The two banks in question are TD Canada Trust and Scotiabank My opinion will be based on three key aspects of these two banks and after reading this you will be able to see that TD Canada Trust is the better bank for a studentStarting everything all off is a personal line of credit or a student loan Both banks have basically the same options for undergraduates in need of money to finance their education However if you look closely at each institutions website you will realize that TD offers more for students who have further ambitions after undergraduate school Scotiabank cuts you off after you borrow fifty thousand dollars and if you are attending a university in Canada that is the cost of your undergraduate degree If you would like to continue your education and receive a graduate degree you are going to need more money TD does not cut you off after fifty thousand dollars the maximum you can borrow from them is forty thousand per year of schooling Since you can actually achieve more when borrowing from TD Canada Trust they are the better institution to bank with when you are a studentContinuing on the borrowing situations for students I will next compare the different student credit cards from both banks Both institutions offer the exact same interest rates on purchases and cash advances so that battle is a push However the TD Canada Trust student Visa card comes with a protection plan that the Scotiabank Scene Visa does not Students are on a tight budget as it is therefore if something we buy breaks
