I have received advice from many different individuals throughout my personal life I have been advised by my colleagues and parents However the best advice that I have received is to dignify myself This means to live my life rightfully respect others and myself This piece of advice or life lesson was given to me by my mother Dignity is like a mirror If you dignify yourself it will reflect on you no matter where you go My mothers voice sounded calm and warm when she was talking Although I was touched by her of talking I did not comprehend what she meant about dignify yourself I wanted request for more details but I didnt My mother is one those people who say a few things but it can mean a lot more than you can imagine Although I did not understand what she meant about dignify yourself I knew she it said for a good purpose Whatever my mother purpose was I wanted to find out by myself I began to ask my colleagues about the meaning of dignity and dignify They told me it means to respect yourself and treat others with honor After receiving the meaning of dignity from my friends I took my first step which was to put it into practice To be honest it was not facile but I tried The more I tried the more it became easy like drinking water I began with formal communication I spoke with people in good manners and tried to understand them It did not matter to me if they were older or younger than me Therefore I addressed to everyone in the same way As I constantly put my mothers advice into practice every day I began to comprehend her purpose of telling me dignity is like a mirror it reflects on you no matter where you go Today this advice has reflected on me by bringing changes into my
