Bridget's feedback:
"You are off to a good start, and this draft demonstrates your work with the research, information, and in committing the raw material to the page in an organized manner. The purpose of the essay is currently unclear in terms of the scope and what specific thesis is being advanced by discussing both men together; guide the reader's understanding using an overarching introduction and conclusion. Signposting language when you move from Smith and Keynes will also help in this (it is possible some language went missing at around that point: see next comment re: unclear boundaries between quotes).
I notice that the Adam Smith section (the first half) runs into clarity issues due to an overreliance on quotations that are, in turn, not always clearly opened and closed using quotation marks. In addition to considering how best to present the information currently given in the multi-paragraph quotes (starting on page 2), watch out for those small but impactful errors like missing quotation marks. Widen the net with a thorough proofread over the entire essay to ensure clarity and ethos via a polished and error-free final draft."
