In this paper I am writing about how the electric guitar came to be To start off I will dig up some of the history on the person or the people who made the guitar electric I will also go into how the first electric guitar took a major step for itself but not the best thing in the world to make at the time I would like to look into some of the changes internally to the guitar so that the sound that is produced is like what it is today I myself really wanted to find out the changes that were involved with the making of the electric guitar as well I also wanted to find out the way the electric guitar changed music itself How the people who were using the guitar and the ones listening to the music was a good thing or a bad thing for them as in if they did not like it or brought it more into their lives moreTo start the most important thing about the electric guitar is the people who made it To a lot of people when asked who do you think made the electric guitar they simply think that it was Les Paul who invented the first electric guitar This is false Les Paul came up with the first solid body electric guitar Some say Leo Fender invented the first one again this is false Many also believe that Paul H Tutmarc invented the first electric guitar but this is also false He invented a Hawaiian electric guitar in the 1930s The main person was a Swiss named Adolph Rickenbacker and his business partner George Beauchamp Adolph Rickenbacker was born on April 1 of 1887 in Basel Switzerland He immigrated to the United States in 1891 with relatives after the death of his parents George Beauchamp was born in Coleman County Texas on March 18 1899 He played many instruments like
