Tragedy can impact ones life in the blink of an eye causing the future to completely take a different path Have you ever had everything you have right in front of you fall apart in one split second Volleyball for me is fun and my experiences are memorable On November 2 2013 we returned home from Fort Hays State University and little did I know that was the last time I would ever speak to one of my teammates again I wake up to a startling sound It must be my alarm I roll over and climb out of bed finally realizing that today is the day We are leaving for State Volleyball in just a few hours As I scramble around my house trying not to forget anything I gather all of my belongings say my goodbyes and I am out the door just that fast As I am driving down the long highway it feels like I will never make it to school on time The adrenaline is rushing through my veins causing my mind to freeze I think How will we do Will we win Or will we just do our best and leave everything out on the court My choice is to take it all home with me a big trophy with a nice piece of gold and the picture of my team on the front As I snap back to reality I finally make it to school I climb out of my car and immediately run to the locker room All of us are getting so excited to leave for Hays It is the third time we are going and we know it will be a good year My coach comes in the door and says ladies its time to go We all line up at the door like there isnt any time to waste We want on that bus My team and I pile out of the door and
