Jenn's feedback:
"Overall, this is a very well-written paper. It is clear what the purpose of your essay is because you have an introduction that ends with a clear and concise thesis statement. You stayed focused on that purpose throughout your writing because the body of your paper aligns with your thesis statement, and the conclusion summarizes points made in the body of the paper. Regarding the content of your essay, you use a substantial amount of cited information to support the points you are trying to make. You also do an excellent job integrating quotes by not using signal phrases. Your writing is well-formatted, which is essential for reading comprehension and cohesion of the paper. The only suggestion I have regarding this is to ensure no extra spacing between your paragraphs.
Your essay's organization and writing conventions only need minor work to improve significantly. In terms of organization, the main thing I noticed in both the introduction and conclusion was the repetitive use of words. In the introduction, while the thesis statement is satisfactory, consider making an effort not to use the exact words in the other parts of the introduction. The same goes for the conclusion. Try to use synonyms and phrase things differently rather than using the exact words and phrases.
Last, there are a minor number of word choice, sentence structure, grammar, and punctuation errors scattered throughout your document. Make sure to read through it, or have another pair of eyes look at it, so that you can get specific feedback about how to fix these issues."
