Human trafficking is the illegal trade of human beings for the purposes of reproductive slavery commercial sexual exploitation forced labor or a modern-day form of slavery Slavery is a system under which people are treated as property and are forced to work These two terms have multiple things in common Two similarities in these terms are that when slavery occurred not much was being done to stop it and that there is no human rights either way a difference is that slavery was ended over a hundred years agoAnother similarity between slavery and human trafficking is that during the time when human slavery occurred not much was being done to stop it The world thought that people with colored skin were different and that they deserved to be treated poorly and should have no human rights There were not that many people who thought that this was wrong and fought for the rights of the slaves In Canada and most other countries we labialize human trafficking as morally wrong and that everyone is entitled to human justice rights However in some countries people do not think its as horrible Some proceed with the business and expect that nothing can stop it because of corrupt law enforcement There are many foundations attempting to stop this disturbing business These foundations are saving thousands of lives and giving the proper medical and therapeutic care to those who are in need of it However these foundations are putting themselves in danger with the corrupt governments of many of the third world countries were this business is most present The corrupt police officers can get more cash from the pimps in a day with bribes then they could get in a week of their salary This makes it very difficult and dangerous to fight for the lives of those who are trafficked and not much can be done about it while the corrupt governments are still in place
