On a faithful Wednesday morning in the street of Jarvis on my way for my English class lectures I was extremely late to board a bus so I decided to walk fast On getting to the end of the street a scary faced bull dog came out from an alley immediately I became frightened I was confused either to chase the dog or to run away On that same spot as I was still pondering for five minutes I saw someone who also came out from the same alley the chain of his Chihuahua dog on his left hand on his right hand he was pinging on his blackberry phone and on his ear he was wearing a Bluetooth ear piece which I believe he was talking to someone because he spoke loudly All he did was to call the dog by its name and he apologized to me Within me I said just look at what our world has turned into my precious time wasted all to multitaskingMultitasking requires a lot from people and also the availability of modern technology has caused a great influence to the society Multitasking makes us become addicted to our gadgets According to Bob Herbert from The New York Times he says The blessed wonders of technology are overwhelming us We dont control them they control us Tweet less kiss moreThe use of gadgets has really caused much harm to me that I cannot do without it when making my hair at boring classes or seminars am always tempted to check my facebook or yahoo mail accounts even if I just checked them a minutes before entering the class or making my hairMultitasking generates stress and distractions I can imagine we do too many things at the same time and we dont get what we want Research has made me understand that our brain was made to perform only one task at a time efficiently we are not like
