Bridget's feedback:
"This essay shows impressive control over the narrative and storytelling elements; you bring the reader briskly across the various events, allowing moments of well-chosen detail without ever slowing down the progress. I might hope for a little more in the last two paragraphs, as the sentence "Tchaikovsky's life was a mixture of fantasy and reality..." opens the door for a final moment of in-depth analysis of the biographical detail we've just encountered. Is there room to explore this idea, with reference back to some of the life events and his work, in perhaps two or three more sentences toward the end? For example, can you braid into this conclusion about depressing reality/happy fantasy your earlier statement about great distinctions coming during times of "sadness and despair"?
As you head into the final stretch, make sure to format your paper properly per your style guide (line spacing, indents, etc.); as part of your proofreading, attend as well to properly formatting titles of works. In your mechanics-oriented proofread, watch out for minor errors that you can clean up for a final and polished presentation."
