Response PaperIn today our youth are heavily engaged and influenced by different trends and cultures A very popular culture in todays society is the Rap and Hip Hop Culture This is a culture mainly geared towards African Americans but today its fans reach near and far Whites Asians Mexicans and many other different races from all over the world now enjoy this music It is mainly enjoyed by young adults aged range from young children to late 20s Many of todays rap artist are young there selves Many of todays popular rappers range from 16-25 in age which is probably why the youth feel a strong connection with them They have become role models for the youth well really for the entire culture Many of the fans look up to them on how to dress how to talk what actives are cool to do etc By being role models they set trends and their fans base tend to follow what they do This can be good but this can also be very bad being that the rap community is not well known for many good things The rap culture has a very bad stigma to it that is somewhat justifiable in many ways Although many do not agree with the things being expressed in this culture we can all agree that this culture has a great effect on our youth and the way they see themselves in others in the world todayRap music is famous for many things being both positive and negative Majority of the things being negative in the eyes of the people in the world today Its language however has gotten many positive praises Hip hop is widely popular for its highly poetic structure and this is why many different cultures are attracted to it Its appealing lyrics of pain and struggle that many artists pour into their music makes this something most people cant deny the talent and uniqueness to it
