Japan is an overpopulated and developed country in Asia Since a long time Japan has been having a prosperous economy and trading and commercialization have played a significant role in the internationalization of Japan Globalization and its attractiveness have affected many developed countries around the world Japan being one of them Many countries are constantly struggling to for being attractive to other countries and expand internationally Every developing country is striving to find a place amongst the richest and successful countries of the world by internationalizing itself However countries ideologies different lifestyles and eating habits are some of the factors that globalization has been threatening worldwide the Japanese culture being no exception Globalization has affected Japanese culture in three different ways economically locally and individually Economic changes have been observed since globalization took over Japanese culture Agreeing with Fingleton2012 the fact that Japanese manufacturers have graduated to making so-called producers goods this sort of manufacturing which is both highly capital-intensive and highly know-how-intensive was virtually monopolized by the United States in the 1950s and 1960s and constituted the essence of American economic leadership It has changed Japans view of a different economic system and has changed the Japanese trading system as well According to Qi during the 1950s and 1960s adopting American standards and exporting Japanese products to the US were the motif of the globalization In other words the global society has influenced the development of Japanese economy over the past years Japanese society has come up with various ideas of how to commercialize their products and have implemented their innovations and creative designs to sell them in the international market The Asian economy has become more powerful being universally known and approved by the global market Pew Global Attitudes 2007 This explains why Japanese culture has been motivated to change to the American economic system Localization has been modified in the old and traditional Japanese culture by globalization Threatening locally made products and
