The issue of whether or not Parents should not Allow Their Children to Eat Junk Foodhas been widely debated in our community recently It is an important issue because it has being blamed for causing many undesirable problems to children Junk food is a wide range of meals which prepared easily in a short time and have gained in popularity with the rise of the increasingly hectic modern lifestyle Although the junk food is convenient tasty and suitable with modern life styles it is clear that junk food have many effects on childrens health Therefore I strongly believe that parents should not allow their children to eat junk food for three reasonsThe first reason and most important one that junk foods are not nutritious and do not contain any nutritional value and children who consume a lot of junk food may become malnourished putting their healthy development and growth in danger Moreover with chemical additives loaded with the foods can lead to behavioural problems such as low energy sleep disturbance mood swing and poor academic achievement In addition In a study published inChild Care Health and Developmenta European public health journal researchers have concluded there is an obvious improvement in students attitude during class after the junk food and soft drinks in school canteen is removed A second reason for supporting risks of junk food is that can lead to increased level of blood sugar in children This increases the chances of acquiring type 2 diabetes the condition of natural bodily production of insulin being unable to counter the amount of blood sugar in the body
