Bridget's feedback:
"With your main claims and evidence on the page, there are a few areas of focus for the next draft. My first recommendation is to clearly establish the various frameworks used in the argument, whether of economics, politics, or philosophy. Without this grounding the paper struggles to leave the realm of personal opinion, and while this is not a problem per se, the scope and use of, for example, libertarian think tank policy reports, suggests a more sophisticated approach that should be reflected across the entire apparatus.
In terms of organization, consider the balance of the discussion. You take a clear position from the onset and are commendably consistent in it; however, giving equal space to the opposite side, while fair and in itself an interesting discussion, may throw the reader off as they navigate that second half. I suggest streamlining the counterarguments so you can combine each of those three with the direct response in that same paragraph; this allows you to respond to each immediately."
