Bob's feedback:
"Your paper is well-written and informative. It paints a vivid picture of how inhumane the institution of slavery in the United States was.
Since slavery has existed (and still exists) all over the world, be sure to state clearly that you are describing American slavery.
Much of your paper is spent directly quoting or paraphrasing other texts. While this support is great for your essay, it may be a bit too much, leaving the paper lacking in terms of your own analysis. Think about what exactly you want to say about slavery. If your purpose is simply to show that it is cruel, you have achieved that, but that isn't a particularly strong or informative topic."
