Bridget's feedback:
"The use of textual evidence gives the reader a good sense of the work you've done with the texts and their ideas, characters, and themes. With this down on the page, and with the broad contours of the essay's structure and argumentation down, you can use this to move forward in the writing process. My main comment is regarding the Oedipus discussion: in its current form, the short-burst paragraphs, mostly given over to presenting a single quotation, works against cohesiveness and forces the reader to piece together the evidence on their own, a task that presents a forest-for-the-trees distraction. Shape those page 2 elements into a more holistic discussion that ushers the reader smoothly through the evidence.
Your point about Creon's flaw being "most chosen" (this phrasing could use some revision) is an interesting point. I'm curious if you can take advantage of your profiling of both protagonists and antagonists in the conclusion: what does it mean that fate overpowers both hero and villain?"
