Have you ever wondered what if you could travel back through time and become a millionaire by betting on horses sports and other competitions Or always wish you could go back through time to change some terrible incident in your past What would happen if you could go back through time and changed the past What would your future be like when you returned Could you even travel into the past or future These questions have came up time after time from movie producers to scientist There are many theory in the world that deal with this issue but perhaps the most the most prominent theory is Einstein According to Einsteins theory approaching the speed of light would theoretically slow time traveling at the speed of light would make it stand still and traveling faster than the speed of light would reverse time Onion 3 The effect is the same when the mass around one is increased Thus mass and speed are relative in that the greater the amount of either the more time will warp To understand more clearly how Einsteins works lets look at a few examples First if one increases the speed at which he or she is traveling than the result would be time moving faster from his or her perspective In 1975 Carol Allie a student at the University of Maryland tested this theory by synchronizing two clocks and placing one on a plane which she flew around and the other on the Earth Onion par 7 When she returned from her flight she found that time had moved a fraction of a second more slowly for the clock that was airborne Onion par 7 Secondly turn to the concept of an increased mass as a means of time manipulation In one experiment scientists measured the rate at which a clock ticked at the base and top of a skyscraper They found that the clock closer Earths mass moved more
