The Mystery Machine was the ride for Scooby Doo and the gang for Josh and his friends it was the Green Machine Green Machine was known for its size and pine green paint job Josh and his friends would go on adventuring just like those meddling kids in the Mystery Machine At the time the Green Machine was a great ride for various reasons It was unique with its rust spots cracked windshield and the coffee stained carpet inside On top of that the Green Machine was eccentric in its driving because it wasnt exactly in greatest mechanical condition Even though it wasnt known for its NASCAR performance qualities the old Green Machine held many fond memories for Josh whether it be hitting snow banks or hiding from cops The Green Machine in itself was a legend yet long forgotten by many who rode in that van but Josh still remembers the day when he received itThe van had lots of visual details that made it the Green Machine One of the distinctive attributes of the van was that it always smelled like shoes It was a mobile version of There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe except that it had wheels and the shoe happened to be pine green Along with the odor of the shoes the carpet also was stained with mud coffee and other unknown substances that somehow got on the carpet The exterior didnt spoil the illusion The windshield for example had a huge crack right in the middle The van also had rust stains all along its bottom Another feature was that the van was never washed so instead being the green pine color it was a mixture of brown and green wasnt the prettiest color out there Green Machine also was known for its mechanical eccentricitiesIt had numerous mechanical problems to say the least Among the problems were the brakes To come to a
