No single raindrop believes it is to blame for the flood this motto should be kept in mind when trying to discuss the complexities that lead to overpopulation This is adverse condition when an organisms numbers exceed the carrying capacity of its area It mostly refers to the relationship between the human population and its environment Earth or smaller geographical areas such as countries The population had been self-regulating in the past but with major advances in technology and medicine the number has multiplied at an alarming rate There have been many attempts in the past to try and make a dent on this issue but there are several variables that are intertwined that makes overpopulation a complicate matter to tackle Even with ten million dollars The pitfalls of the project are immense Either the cause does not succeed and everyone is out of ten million dollars or it does and causes tension among people that believe the cause is unjust or unfair It is difficult to say what may happen and more research is needed to determine the outcome of this movement Technology can be used for and against the cause helping awareness but would be a known target by some religious groups It seems that the worlds population has always been kept in check through war famine disease and other factors but compared to the past population has been booming out of control Times have changed and with it laws that are put into place to try and regulate the amount of people within an area China has laws limiting how many children a couple can have The economic ramifications must be taken into account Money spent on trying to sustain a large population in need could be spent on other things such as education health care housing etc if the problem was lessened The cost of aid by a superpower or multinational corporations is often for reasons other than that the
