You could feel the tension in the jurors room as they each walked in through the door one by one Discussed in the book called Twelve Angry Men by Reginald Rose there is twelve jurors going through the evidence of finding a dead dad and his son who was innocently accused of a crime he didnt commit All arguing whether this boy is guilty or not With all but one juror finding him innocent and that was Juror 8 Juror 8 stood alone finding the boy innocent Not only was he standing up for the boy but also for himself and what he believed to be true which was very courageous It may be easy for some of the jurors to just assume the boy was guilty and move on But for juror 8 he believed that it wasnt fair for this boy to just get prosecuted He knew that all the jurors needed to discuss the crime All it took for the boy to be given another chance was at least one juror voting him innocent They all took a vote and the first vote was 11-1 11 guilty and 1 not guilty Juror 8 stood alone but still had hope Through it all juror 8 got judged ridiculed and even threatened If that didnt make him want to give up then nothing would There was something different about this juror he had something the others did not He was very confident in his decision and he showed it Everything he stated he said with no fear in his voice he didnt second guess himself Some of the things that were told didnt seem to be connecting completely The old man said that he had witnessed the boy running away after the death of his father He had said that within 15 seconds of the fall he was out of bed and watched the boy run down the stairs How can an old
