Scarcity A World without the basic economic problem scarcity in my mind wouldnt be a very wonderful place The world needs scarcity Without scarcity the world wouldnt be where it is today Sure the world would be much more peaceful There would just be unlimited quantities of everything which is a great benefit but it just wouldnt be the same First off without scarcity there would be so many things and nobody would have to work and people can have anything they want for free That would pretty much make everybody spoiled but if everyone is spoiled then I guess it wouldnt be considered spoiled but normal I think that work is good Sure it may seem awful but its a necessity I think everyone has to work at least once in their lifetime It gives them a responsibility The World wouldnt be like it is today in the sense of technology With no scarcity and no work that would mean no one would go to work and invent things That means no cars computers phones stereos or TV I personally dont know how I can live without those Life would be pretty boring to me However there is of coarse benefits to having no scarcity This would most likely be much more peace in the world Many countries go into war over land which they consider very valuable because of some resource which is rare It can be oil diamonds or food but the case is that countries want these precious resources and are willing to go to war over them Take for example when Iraq attacked Kuwait for Kuwaits oil If there was no scarcity that would mean oil would be plentiful and Iraq would have never attacked Kuwait So that would be a major benefit but that is the only benefit I can imagine A World with no scarcity just wouldnt be the same Even with the benefit of much more
