Saudi Arabia is on the south west of Asia It is the largest country in the Arabian Peninsula and it is one of the richest countries in the world it has an amusing natural resource of oil which produces 97 million barrels of oil every single day In addition Saudi Arabia has an important religious position in the Islamic world it has the two holy mosques in Mecca and Medina cities where almost every single Muslim visits at least once in hisher lifetime to perform pilgrim Although pilgrim occurs once a year the Saudi government benefits billions of dollars out of it Moreover the population of Saudi Arabia is estimated to be around 28 million people including foreigners with a land area of about 196 million square kilometers 756981 square milesSo far all of these facts about Saudi Arabia indicate that its people are having a good lifestyle if not the best Sadly that is not what the reality is like in Saudi Arabia Even sadder the rate of unemployment is unstable for the last couple of decades According to Central Intelligence Agency the unemployment rate in Saudi Arabia is 109 however this rate included only Saudi males Some local banks estimated the rate of unemployment in Saudi Arabia as high as 289 including both genders I believe that unemployment is the gate to poverty And poverty is the gate to the countrys collapse So I ask myself how could a rich country such as Saudi Arabia have this high rate of unemployment What are the reasons of unemployment and poverty in Saudi Arabia How should the government act to end this tragedy And how can the citizens help putting an end for these significant social issuesPossible Reasons for Unemployment and poverty in Saudi Arabia First possible reason is that Saudi citizens are too picky when it comes to choosing their jobs According to Karen Elliot
