Everyday life on campus can be a hassle if one does not know how to manage it especially if things are not working Laundry is considered a daunting prospect according to students who live in the dorms Students are staying up late doing laundry until 3 am due to broken washers and dryers Also students tend to do laundry at the same time which leads to waiting a very long time and frustration This is major to freshman especially if they are first time users including me People are not using the machines right therefore the machines are shutting down quickly Additionally I do not understand the fact that there at least 3000 students in the dorm but there are only 74 washers and 74 dryers total meaning nearly 1 out of 3 are broken according to the spectrum The laundry rooms are dirty humid and noisy which should be getting taken care of immediately due to the number of people living in the dormUsually people are in a hurry due to classes or work College is college meaning people are constantly doing things For example studying going to class or doing other activities Due to the ratio of students and number of machines they should be getting checked regularly They are not repaired quickly enough and students are getting very frustrated The other day while I was doing laundry I noticed a girl patiently waiting for open machines until an hour had gone by and she was getting impatient to the point where she took out someone elses laundry out of the dryer to put hers in Honestly it would drive me insane if I found out that someone has touched my laundry or had taken any articles of clothing of mineNot only does it involve clothes it involves sleepless nights which leads to even more major factors like messing up the circadian rhythm stress missing class lack in concentration motivation and focus
