Bridget's feedback:
"You've chosen solid details to craft an interesting look at Curie's life; the organization and flow are good, moving the reader smoothly from beginning to end. I notice a few sentences that seem to cut off, such as words or phrases being dropped (e.g., the last sentence), so my first recommendation is to carefully read through this draft and restore any missing text. Once you have a full draft to work with, I recommend thinking about the purpose of the essay -- is it to describe Curie's life, or will you take a position? Check your prompt to make sure your approach conforms to any expectations from the instructor.
I notice the final paragraphs are a little shorter and less substantial than the earlier part of the paper. Brainstorm some ways to ensure the discussion doesn't peter out and inadvertently give the suggestion that Curie's childhood was more important than the later accomplishments of her life."
