"You present your information in a well-organized and clear manner; the reader easily follows the various beats as you move through Johanson's life. The writing itself is engaging, with good sentence variety and flow, and mechanically sound, allowing the reader to concentrate on the discussion. To finish polishing up the presentation, double-check your style guide for punctuating after a parenthetical citation. (Related, check up and fix title formatting, such as italicizing book titles.)

As a final note, the last page of the essay, prior to the conclusion, which is strong, reads rather like a CV. You keep the language dynamic and moving, but I wondered if a different organization or more selective presentation of detail would help avoid this mode (a similar issue in the "prolific author" paragraph earlier in the paper)."
