These days it is not hard to find a company in a developed country has plants in developing countries This outsourcing or off-shoring is related to economic growth and reinforcement of environmental regulation in domestic market Economic growth has led people to have a high standard of living and it requires the corporations to give higher salaries and pay employee benefits The governments concern in term of environment has made the corporations spend more money on reducing the pollution caused by their manufacturing facilities In these circumstances transferring their plants into developing countries is a brilliant way for the corporations to maximize profits with less expense The developing countries are interested in economical growth and have lax regulations about employment and environment so the corporations operate their business more efficiently In other words they technically operate their business legally in the developing countries but the way they operate their business is sometimes illegal in their own countries In the developing countries side the global business is welcomed because the corporations take economic and legal responsibilities The introduction of new manufacturing facilities creates new jobs and builds infrastructures which are helpful for the developing countries to realize economical growth and what the corporations do is totally legal However it is not a secret that some of the corporations exploit workers even children with small amount of wages and long working hours and their facilities severely pollute the developing countries I question whether the corporations take the same level of corporate social responsibility in the developing countries compared to in their own countries Those companies are forced to take minimum degree of ethical responsibilities by the strict regulations in developed countries but in the developing countries the lax regulations give them no reasons to take the minimum degree of ethical responsibilities The corporations social responsibilities are differently applied according to the regulations which they belong to Because of the cultural political differences between the countries a companys
