The person I most admire is my mother Virginia Alicea Im not justsaying this because shes my mother- anyone can be a mother but ittakes a strong person to be a parent Her personality has taught me howto love others the way you want to be love All of the obstacles mymother has had to overcome just amazes me What I admire most about mymother is all things that she has done for me and all that she has givenme My mother is a true character with a personality thats filled withlove I would consider my mother to be very caring For example when mybest friend had no place to stay my mother took her in she feed herprovided her attire and treated her like one of her own It takes aperson with a good heart to take someone in that they barely even knowand give them a home She believes that if there is room and she has themoney why not help someone in need Her kindness towards strangersmakes my admiration for her even more special I consider my mother tobe a big worrier She calls me about eight times a day however I stilllive with her so I see her at home everyday My question is why is thislady calling me again Simply because she cares and wants to make surethat I am okay Another strong characteristic about my mom is hercompassion She has the ability to sympathize with anyone because of herown experiences Her way of expressing love to others is what has me inawe As an adolescent my mother had to overcome many obstacles For instanceat the age of thirteen she was forced to drop out of school to supporther family At the age of seventeen my mother and her brother decide tomove to the United States for a better opportunity Things werent easyfor my mother when she arrived to the states coming from Puerto Rico mymother didnt speak
