Only two hours and thirty minutes from Orlando on a good traffic day is Sarasota Having Visited Sarasota for over ten years I have become very familiar with the area and some of the best features that Sarasota has to offer With my knowledge and memorable experiences I would like to inform those who enjoy both nature and adventure that Sarasota is an excellent location to visit The three most important parts that make Sarasota so memorable for me are Demetrios Restaurant TJ Saprito fishing pier and Siesta Key beach While Sarasota is a small city it has plenty of dining locations My favorite of them all is Demetrios Restaurant one of the most important parts of Sarasota Demetrios Restaurant is located on 4410 S Tamiami Tril and sits exactly four miles from a Publix Demetrios was introduced to me by my family who is close friends with the owner James Anthony Every time my family and I visit Sarasota we are sure to stop by to say hello to Mr Anthony and enjoy delicious Italian Food Demetrios has a lot of different menu items my personal favorite is the pizza To accompany my meal I always get a dessert Demetrios has an endless list of deserts that could compare to the baking of Chef Emeril Lagasse Even more important than the dining locations in Sarasota is the fishing Piers to be specific the TJ Saprito fishing pier I have been coming to this fishing pier with my family ever since I can remember What really makes this pier such an important part of Sarasota is the bond it has created for my family and I Visiting this pier has become a tradition for me and my family the first thing we do when we get there is to buy bait from Harts Landing Bait shop From there we find a nice spot to cast our fishing rods and begin fishing My Family and I
