Material possessions can cause dominate effects on people lives In todays society the younger generations believe that possessions reflect the value of life Material possession can make people who consider themselves poor have things that would make them feel great Material possessions can have a bad effect on people in the world because the things that they see they might cant afford but the person standing next to them can thats when jealousy comes in and bad decision makingPeople today are pressured by products to have whats popular today people have material possessions because the things that are coming out catch their eyes In the younger generation such as teenagers even adults any new cellular devices game consoles clothes the new tennis shoes and heels that come out we must have in life or we wont feel complete For example in the documentary The Queen of Versailles The documentary depicts Jackie Siegel which is the queen and David Siegel the owner for Westgate Resorts In the documentary Jackie showed us how having an addicted material possession was In her world money wasnt a problem she brought things just to buy them knowing she can afford it She had 7 kids when going to the store shell double up on things that were unnecessary She brought about four operations games when she could have just easily brought one or two and brought a brand new bike when she had like twenty brand new ones in the garage that had never been touched She was pressured to buy all those things because she knew she could afford all the new things I personally crave the new products that come out especially the ones that catch my eye Im the only child in my family so if I didnt get the next best thing that was coming out I would go crazy Thats why I believe that in todays generation the possessions of things in life reflect on
