The Work of the Angels According to the bible angels have been created by God to fulfill the commands of God This is present in the first chapter of the bible which clearly states the Hebrew word - MALAK mal-awk which means to dispatch as a deputy The responsibilities levied on angels have therefore been derived from the Hebrews and they are that the angels are representatives and messengers of God Angels are considered as servants of God as they could even take the shape of man to pass on a message of God to a human History has witnessed proofs of it as when an angel was sent to Daniel from God That is an angel was sent by God in response to Daniels prayer Another example that can be considered of angels acting as messengers was after the resurrection of Jesus Angels have always fulfilled the commands of God at all times although man has not been aware of it Angels are representatives of God and have performed all duties assigned to them by God but they have come into human form when God sent them on earth to deliver his messages to man or to help out the man in times of need The angels exhibit Gods glory now Yet despite the power and nature of the angels Gods purpose does not lie only with them We read that they are ministering spirits sent to help the heirs to Gods salvation that is those who believe the word of God and strive to serve Him now despite their imperfections We are told that Christ is higher than the angels It is he who reflects Gods glorious character perfectly Hebrews 25-10 ANGELS Gods thoughts passing to man spiritual intuitions pure and perfect the inspiration of goodness purity and immortality counteracting all evil sensuality and mortality Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures The Revelation of
