Egypt is located among Libya Mediterranean Sea the Gaza Strip Sudan and the Red Sea This country is well-known for its vast of dessert plateau interrupted by the Nile valley and Delta Because of its geography with much of dessert land this country faces a lot of environmental problems They include the loss of agricultural land increasing of soil salinization desertification oil pollution threatening the coral reefs and marine habitats water pollution and the rapid population growth overstraining the Nile valley and natural resources 2 Egypt is known as one of the most ancient country not only in the Middle East but also in the world In the seventeenth century AD this country was invaded by the Islamic armies for the Arabia and ruled under them until the sixteenth century when it became the province of the Ottoman Empire and was ruled under MamluksEgypt entered the modern world for the first time under the rule of King Muhammad Ali after the event of British driving French armies from Frenchs goal of expenditure Egypt Alis goal was to lead the country to become equal with the Western European countries Like other countries the country of Egypt went through many different revolutions Under the years of monarchy there was a group of lower or middle class people who created the corps of professional officers Because King Ali was appointed by British as Egypts leader after the event of Frances invasion this country was pretty under the control of British And therefore nationalism issue in Egypt was to be free from the British This was also the goal of the group of officers Gamal Abdel Nasser was one of the most dominant members of the group Nassers goal was to restrore the dignity and stature of Egypt to eliminate the control of foreign power and also to lead this country to become leader of the Arab
