Bridget's feedback:
"You've given the reader a clear beat sheet of how the scandal unfolded, showing your work with the historical material. The focus on a day-by-day summary makes the purpose of the paper a little hard to determine because the introduction and conclusion emphasize public opinion and trust in government to suggest a thesis-driven discussion of Watergate. If this is indeed the purpose (and would be more appropriate for academic writing), your body must also address impact (as promised in the very first sentence), a discussion that will need evidence and clear sourcing. To accommodate this, you may need to make cuts to the summary of events -- double-check your prompt and assignment and start strategizing your next draft's higher-order concerns with the parameters in mind."
