My goal that is to be a chemist originated from a vacation to some karst carves which when I was in elementary school My mother told me that such a beautiful place was designed by nature by a very slow chemical process Honestly I didnt really understand what a chemical process meant but there was a deep concept planted in my mind chemistry creates miracles As I got to real chemistry courses in middle school I realized that everything as familiar as breaths we take or as special as the petrochemical industry happens with chemistry Now I know that many scientists contribute their entire life to finding patterns from the periodic table principles of reaction or quantitative changes of chemical process It means an important part of the world can be concentrated to a single formulation Since then I have faith that accumulating knowledge in chemistry would help me to understand the world and further allow me to serve the world like a chemist Being a chemist requires professional skills and profound knowledge Therefore after high school my parents supported me to study in the United States which is the country considered as having the top educational and scientific achievements in the world Being an undergraduate chemistry major at the University of Central Arkansas has been the most unforgettable experience in my life Undergraduate life provides me with both the happiness of learning and difficulties of being an international student whereas I am satisfied by what I have learned and the problems I have learned to overcome The language barrier was my biggest problem However I changed this situation by spending extra time on it Participating in chemistry classes has become one of my favorite things It is interesting that in my senior inorganic course karst carves showed up again A limestone-based geological feature which can be dissolved in natural acid such as carbonic acid forms soluble compounds That was a milestone on my way
