The song Imagine by John Lennon is well defined as a utopianism This song was written by John Lennon who believed and promoted world peace The song Imagine was made during the time of the Vietnam war The lyrics to the song support a world with no fighting and everyone getting along which is what a lot of the hippies of the Era wanted so bad The song Imagine was featured on the 1971 album Imagine Imagines first release as a single was in 1975 In this song Lennon tried to grab the attention of a multi audience of people to help them over come what had been such a hardship for there age in time In Lennons song Imagine he wanted to tell us to visualize a place where everybody was welcomed because in this time period not everybody was aloud to be free Lennon also wanted to show us how life would be without war like the ideals of Martin Luther King to regain peace in there society The impact of this song was very beneficial in the way that it made the audience and people of the community think of the possibilities of having your own religion and the world being one In the 1960s and 1970s we struggled so hard to have a society of peace and happiness which we had to have pushed through with the help of multiple leaders imagine there is no countries it isnt that hard to do nothing to kill or die for and no religion too imagine all the people living life in peace during this time period we had a lot of people who were conservatives who tried to change the opinion of the hippies Lennon wanted to allow everyone the dream he dreamed of everyday by sharing the thoughts and letting people see just how great it would be to stop the fighting and think of everyone
